Here, kitty, kitty, kitty!

This Sears Optical commercial just cracks me up. I can't help it. I was once blind as a bat so it could have been me without glasses. Best thing I ever did for myself was Lasik surgery. I went from being legally blind without my glasses to being able to see 20/15 distance. I still need reading glasses because I was already in bi-focals before the surgery. Lasik can't fix both near and far sight but my distance vision was awful! I love technology! Just wish Lasik had been around all those years ago when I wanted to fly helicopters in the Army. LOL

LOL! OK, that's a crack up! Thank GOD I don't have pets, or that'd be me!

Thanks, Shayla!

And this is why I keep my glasses on until I'm actually IN bed or the shower.

You are a nut. I can so picture you doing something like this with all your animals.

OMG!! That would have been so me before Lasik surgery. Like you, I was legally blind before Lasik ten years ago. I've been happy every day since. Pathetic to need glasses to find the glasses. BTW, the newer lasik techniques can correct so you don't need distance or reading glasses.

Thanks for sharing that.

Hiya, Flchen! I have so many animals I'm afraid I might not notice something new even with good eyesight! *cackle*

I hear you, Teresa! Before the Lasik, I slept with my glasses under the pillow next to me. Nothing worse than trying to find your glasses in a hurry in the middle of the night!

Hiya, Allie! And yes, I can picture me doing something like that too! That's part of why I find it so funny! But I really believe the kitties invite friends home when I'm not here. They seem to eat more when I'm not home. LOL

Hugs!

Betty! Lasik was the best thing! I wish I didn't need the reading glasses but when I had it done three years ago, they couldn't fix both. I'm just happy with being able to see to drive, walk, watch tv. LOL

Loved it, Shayla! Fortunately, my 60-lb. dog can't get up on the high four-poster with me--or any other critter with me, I hope!

Too funny! I wish I had the courage to get lasik.

Shayla I love this commercial. I have no vision issues but my old Mama Cat (God Rest her soul) was a Maine Coon and she looked very similar to a raccoon. We lived way out in the country(no street lights and one low watt bulb on the front porch)and I went out to get her. I saw what I thought was her laying on the porch rail. I was within inches of picking "her" up when the real Mama came up behind me! I shutter to think what would have happened had Mama not rubbed against my leg!

Very funny indeed. I'm glad they ended the commercial before the raccoon jumps on her head and bites her face off.

Hiya, Judy! You're lucky! On really cold mornings, I usually find several cats and one big dog in bed with me! LOL Thanks for stopping by!

Hiya, GPS! Lasik wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. I'm very happy I did it!

Rachel! LOL I imagine that was scary! I was walking one of my dogs after dark one night. She pulled toward the woods and something hissed. I spotlighted it with my flashlight. I didn't know until then that possums hissed! Scared me! I thought is was a cat!

LOL Madeline! I've known people with pet raccoons. They can be tamed to a degree but they get into everything. Childproofing a house has nothing on raccoon proofing! They are cute though. I had one hold on to my little finger with one paw while she took peanuts from my palm. Her paw felt like a little hand! So weird!

Thanks everyone for stopping by!

OMG! I've never seen that commercial. That was great! Kind of how I see sometimes. I remember once we had field mice got into our house a lot & I thought my cat had a piece of ham he stole & it was a mouse alive & I almost picked it up with my bare hands! Always wear my glasses now. LOL. Although this place we don't worry about mice anymore.
