This morning's conversation.
Me (with picture attached): I have berries! Only 4 but I have berries! (I planted strawberries this year in one of those upside down planters.)
Momma: Great! Will you share?
Me: Share four berries? LOL Maybe...
Momma: Be nice. Bad a.m. Dog pushed off bed and spilled a big cup of coffee.
Me: Did you bury him in the back yard yet? (Her usual threat when her dog does something bad.)
Momma: Digging.

The coffee's more important than the berries. Save the coffee!!! I'm having same issues with my mother texting. She now has a Droid with touch screen. She told me the other day "I can transfer money, watch a movie, take pictures and buy a LV purse off ebay. The only think I can't do is make a phone call". LMAO
ROTFLMAO @ the "can't make a phone call"! Momma doesn't have a smartphone but the camera on her phone is amazing. I showed her how to text pictures so she could send some to me. She's slowly figuring out the rest. She told me today she wants to text the granddaughters. They all think she's so technologically challenged she wants to prove them wrong.
Oh my Shayla, that is too funny. My mother does email and FB but her cell phone capabilities end with using the Nextel Direct Connect!
The worst part is Mom is only 59, she should be more technically up to date, now my 86 year old grandmother? still using a vcr!
Hiya, Rachel! My mother doesn't have a computer so no internet stuff. She'd probably get into using one but she doesn't see it as a necessary expense. LOL
Momma's 71 so it's really cool she's getting into texting and stuff.
I love that part where someone said Mom is ONLY 59. Bless her heart! I will be 59 tomorrow. ^_^ I'm glad to hear that still sounds young.
I cracked up when your mom wrote digging -- LOL -- that is a classic one liner. I'm so glad you shared this with us.
LOL that was hilarious.
ROTFL, that digging comment cracked me up too...
My mother is what we all lovingly call a "technotard"... hey, she calls herself that. I field phone calls from her on at least a weekly basis (depending on what gadget she's messing with) on how to work a certain gadget or find something online. When she told me she was getting an ereader I groaned... so far she figured that one out pretty quickly. Must have been the lure of books in one spot... either that or the owner's manual was in frighteningly easy terms. Thanks for the laugh.
Shayla this cracked me up! It reminds me of my Boxer, always into something. The other day she opened and drank, dumped, who knows, a quart of oil I had hid from her! She's ok, so I'm guessing either she needed a lube job, or she didn't drink it.
